After 15 years in residential, commercial and federal construction, including the management of over $75M in capital improvement contracts for the US Government, Karl transitioned from his role in project management and into construction technology.
Leaving RQ Construction, LLC in 2013, Karl moved from Washington, DC to Chicago to help establish local tech startup, BuiltWorlds, before launching his own initiatives at Cannon Consulting Group and Blue Collar Labs in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
Karl received his undergraduate degree from Wheaton College for business and economics in 2008. Now residing in Logan Square, Karl spends his days immersed in city culture, pursuing anything that takes him outside or to a coffeeshop.
