“Prior to Watermark, I knew I wanted a career where I could build. Build something that would not only last, but also make a difference."

Freddy cofounded Watermark Equity Group to create access to real estate investments and management expertise that previously were only available to institutions. His investment philosophy is rooted in risk management and value creation.

As Managing Partner Freddy co-chairs the Investment Committee and oversees sales and marketing for Watermark, where he has allocated millions in private equity and commercial debt. Prior to forming Watermark Equity Group Freddy spent time with JP Morgan Chase working in finance. He also helped launch Chicago Hope Homes in 2011, a non-profit real estate investment firm missioned to provide financial support to the underserved youth of Chicago’s West Side.

Freddy graduated from Wheaton College with a Business Economics degree.  When he is not meeting with investors or overseeing development projects, Freddy enjoys an active lifestyle full of many outdoor hobbies and crossfit.
